Who We Are
Precisely Created Bridges is a nonprofit workforce-development organization that operates the BRIDGE Career & Technical Academy and provides career, reentry, and supportive services in Houston, TX.
FOUNDER'S STORY
Built on Purpose, Driven by People
In February 2026, our founder Shdell Ford was laid off after working for the American Red Cross. Like many hardworking professionals, he found himself facing uncertainty despite his dedication and commitment. That experience became a turning point.
As he searched for his next opportunity, he realized that many people face similar challenges — veterans transitioning to civilian careers, young adults entering the workforce, military spouses, formerly incarcerated individuals, and unemployed or underemployed adults who possess the determination to succeed but lack access to the right opportunities, training, or professional networks.
Rather than returning to the corporate workforce, Shdell chose to pursue entrepreneurship and dedicate his efforts to serving others. Precisely Created Bridges exists because he believes employment is more than earning a paycheck — it is about restoring confidence, creating opportunity, strengthening families, and building healthier communities.

"Bridges" symbolizes connection. Many people possess the ability and determination to build successful lives but lack access to opportunities, training, mentorship, or professional networks. Our organization exists to bridge those gaps.
